Planets, Constellations, the Star-World and Human Life
The vast solar system, planets, constellations, galaxies and stars are in continuous motion. When a child is born, an astrologer notes the exact date, time and place of birth, and prepares a horoscope showing the position of the nine planets in the twelve houses. Each of these houses belongs to one of the twelve zodiac signs, whose order never changes. Just as the birth-chart reflects the zodiac at the moment of birth, these signs also appear in the Space element (Ākāsha) as star-patterns.
A fetus grows in the mother’s womb and finally takes birth. At that moment, the planetary positions imprint themselves onto the child. Though the horoscope is drawn later, it captures the cosmic snapshot that influences the entire life. It reflects not only the present life but also the karmic tendencies carried from previous births. Each house and each planet has its own meaning and significance. The Sun is the king; all planets revolve around it. Symbolically, these planets also exist inside the human body, influencing it constantly.
How the Solar System Exists Inside the Human Body
The planets visible in the sky also exist symbolically within every individual. Each planet corresponds to specific parts of the body:
- - Sun → bones
- - Moon → mind and blood
- - Mars → nerves
- - Mercury → Earth element in the body
- - Jupiter → intelligence, liver, blood pressure
- - Venus → reproductive fluids
- - Saturn → muscles
When a planet becomes disturbed, the corresponding body-system also becomes affected. Planetary transitions, eclipses or doshas reflected in the Panchang produce noticeable effects in physical and mental health. Understanding this connection allows timely remedies to be applied.
Whatever happens in the sky creates a parallel movement within the body. Through this, one can understand internal disturbances and the changing conditions of life.
Insights from Cosmic Science
Studying the diverse energies of the universe helps us view human life through a scientific and spiritual lens. Life events may seem random, but the yogas formed in the horoscope reveal how past karma influences present experiences. As life unfolds, these interpretations are confirmed through experience. When planets are disturbed, proper spiritual practices and remedies help correct the imbalance.
Just as the solar system is interconnected, so are the divine forces (deities). Knowing which planet needs which remedy or which deity must be approached is something only a true Sadguru can guide accurately. When worship is done correctly, life becomes smoother because worldly events are directly tied to proper spiritual action.
Peace, prosperity and contentment arise from past good karma. Even those who enjoy comforts require supportive destiny to maintain them. Human birth is not meant only for pleasure but for continuous, meaningful action rooted in sattva, ultimately merging the soul with the Supreme.
Running behind wealth, fame or worldly success increases karmic defects rather than elevating the soul. That is why Sage Narada transformed the hunter Vālya KoLi into the sage Valmiki through the power of Nāma-Smarana. Human birth is meant for spiritual progress under Guru-guidance. In difficult times, right action brings peace. When true spiritual knowledge dawns, one realises that worldly knowledge used for livelihood is tiny compared to spiritual wisdom, which is vast, deep and fulfilling.
