Dr. Murlidhar Chandekar, Vice-Chancellor

The traditional Gurukul system means learning directly in the presence and service of the Sadguru. This ancient method created a unified, disciplined, and culturally strong society. Through such education, both the community and the nation became morally and spiritually empowered. At Nath Shakti Peeth, this Gurukul tradition continues to flourish under the grace and guidance of P. P. Shri Narendra Nath Maharaj.

Vice-Chancellor Dr. Murlidhar Chandekar of Sant Gadgebaba Amravati University expressed deep admiration for this work, saying: “I humbly salute this powerful, meaningful, and socially beneficial mission carried forward by Nath Shakti Peeth. The Gurukul system nurtures unity and moral strength in society.”

Dr. Chandekar was speaking as the chief guest at the Dual Tapashcharya Completion Ceremony and the Sahasra Chandra Darshan Celebration of Maharaj.

The dais included P. P. Shri Narendra Nath Maharaj, Pandit Vasantrao Gadgil, Shri Bhausaheb Marodkar (Chairman, Festival Committee), and National Kirtankar Prof. Apamarjane. The program began with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp and worship of the image of Chaitanya Shri Venkatesh Nath Maharaj.

Vedic scholars Dr. Shrikant Shastri Gadadhar, Mangesh Shastri, and their team offered powerful chanting of sacred Vedic mantras. The event was beautifully anchored by H. B. P. Gajanan Kulkarni.

In the morning, Pandit Vasantrao Gadgil began the special class “Learn Sanskrit with Laughter”. In the evening, during a soulful kirtan, Prof. Naraharibuwa Apamarjane remarked: “Whenever one comes to Nath Shakti Peeth, one always learns something valuable.”
