The Space Element (Ākāśa Tattva)
The influence of the Space element begins from birth. Above the four great elements — Earth, Water, Fire, and Air — stands the Space element. Everything exists under Space. Planets, stars, and constellations all reside within the Space element.
The effect of the Space element remains the same across all four Yugas — Satya, Treta, Dvapara, and Kali. Thus, this element influences all divisions of creation equally. Every planet, constellation, and star is an inherent part of the Space element.
Based on the constellation (Nakshatra) under which a child is born, the child’s name and zodiac sign (Rāśi) are determined. Now let us look at the qualities of each planet and how these planets influence human life and personality.
Every living being receives specific effects from the planets. Each planet moves within the solar system, and depending on its position in the zodiac, it influences a person’s behaviour, speech, thoughts, character, and personality.

The Sun reveals whether a person is fearless, honest, or just.
If the Sun is unfavorable:

Importance of Direction and Timing in Planetary Worship
Because Yugas and the Five Elements influence life so powerfully, planetary worship becomes highly effective when performed at the correct direction and time.
Specific plants also influence specific zodiac signs. Worship performed beneath these plants adds great benefit.
If worship under a tree is impossible, keep a piece of the plant — bark, twig, leaf, flower, or root — and worship it daily.
Plants arise from the Earth element, and through the Five Elements they have strong cosmic influence.
