Atisauri Mahayaga 2017

The Sahasra Chandra Darshan Ceremony and Atisauri Mahayaga 2017 were celebrated as a grand milestone marking the completion of 24 years of the Nathpanth mission established by Param Pujya Sadguru Narendra Nath Maharaj in 1993. This mission was based on the threefold foundation of *spiritual accomplishment*, *expansion of the Nath tradition*, and its *practical usefulness* to society.

This major event — including the Sahasra Chandra Darshan of P. P. Sadguru Narendra Nath Maharaj — was jointly organized by the Shri Nath Shaktipeeth family, disciples, devotees, and all those who benefitted from the Shaktipeeth. The celebrations were held from 21 January to 27 January 2017.

On this auspicious occasion, a rich and vibrant series of spiritual programs was conducted:

Major Highlights of the Event

* Atisauri Mahayaga * Complete recitation of all four Vedas * First-ever Bhashya Pathan (scriptural commentary recitations) in Vidarbha * Keertan Festival (Naradiya tradition) * Publication of a Special Edition Magazine * Resolution for serving 100,000 meals (Laksha Annadana Sankalp) * ‘Learn Sanskrit with Ease’ Workshop * Lectures on “Health and Prosperity” * Yearlong Spiritual Programs including:

  1. Nama-smarana (chanting)
  2. Scriptural reading
  3. Anushthana and Havan rituals
  4. Discourses & lecture series
  5. Keertan workshops
  6. Book releases, periodicals, newspaper supplements
  7. Saints’ conventions
  8. Cleanliness drives
  9. Keertan training camps

These celebrations marked the first phase of a year-long set of programs organized by Shri Nath Shaktipeeth.
