Lord Shri Krishna’s Nath Plan

Introduction: Before the end of his earthly incarnation, Lord Krishna deeply reflected on the nature of the four Yugas. He compared the negative forces of earlier ages—Bali in Satya Yuga, Ravana in Treta Yuga, and Duryodhana in Dvapara Yuga.

Even though these beings were powerful and represented darkness, each still carried:

* a trace of purity * honesty of heart * devotion to God * noble feelings

But in the coming age — Kaliyuga — Krishna saw that these qualities would almost disappear.

Krishna Recognises the Danger of Kaliyuga

Once, the very embodiment of Kali appeared in the divine assembly before Brahmadeva. The way Kali spoke and the nature of his intentions made Krishna realise how seriously human life would be affected.

Kali himself described the qualities of his age:

* dishonesty * greed * selfishness * loss of devotion * loss of moral responsibility * widespread suffering

Krishna understood: most people in Kaliyuga would require a permanent shield of divine protection.

But changing the Yuga itself was impossible.

Why the Yuga Cannot Be Changed

The universe runs according to fixed laws:

* Surya‐mandala (solar system) * stars * planets * time cycles * the five great elements (Panchamahabhutas)

Even Brahma, Vishnu, and Mahesh—who created the elements—do not interfere with how those elements function. Time (Kala) and the elements operate on an automatic divine system, and no being can stop them.

Therefore:

* The Yuga cannot be altered * Its structure cannot be rewritten * Only the results within the Yuga can be modified

Krishna understood that although Kaliyuga’s design could not change, the *impact* of Kaliyuga on human beings could be softened.

Krishna Invites the Nine Narayanas

Before ending his incarnation, Krishna decided on a powerful plan to protect humanity.

He sent messengers to invite the Nine Narayanas (Nava‐Narayanas) to Dwaraka.

When they arrived, Krishna—Vishnu himself—rose from his golden throne, greeted them lovingly, and seated them with great honour.

The Nine Narayanas were:

* Kavi * Hari * Antariksha * Prabuddha * Pippalayana * Avihotra * Drumila * Chamas * Karabhajana

Krishna knew:

Panchamahabhutas (five elements) obey the Nine Narayanas. Only they can influence time and elemental consequences.

Therefore he needed their help.

The Narayanas asked:

“What do you wish us to do?”

Krishna Explains the Purpose

Krishna replied:

“The coming Kaliyuga will be extremely difficult. People will lose purity, devotion, discipline, and righteousness. Many will not follow worship, charity, parental respect, Guru respect, or sacred duties.”

Because the Yuga structure could not be changed, Krishna proposed a new spiritual solution:

The creation of the Nath tradition.

Why the Nath Tradition Was Needed

Krishna knew that only a powerful spiritual lineage could:

* reduce the suffering of Kaliyuga * heal the three types of human pain

  1. Adhidaivika (cosmic forces)
  2. Adhibhautika (worldly, external forces)
  3. Adhyatmika (inner pain, mind and soul)

The Nath tradition would also have strength to:

* remove planetary defects in birth charts * neutralise harmful timing, stars, or karmic patterns * cure both curable and incurable diseases * protect against death and premature death * give long, healthy life * remove all types of enemies — hidden or known * counteract black magic, destructive rituals, or harmful energies * remove obstacles in education, career, marriage, and life plans * stabilise mind, family, and relationships * resolve ancestral defects (Pitru Dosha), Kaal Sarp, Graha Dosha, Chandal Dosha, etc. * bring prosperity, success, good fortune, and harmonious homes * improve communication and unity within families

And most importantly:

The Nath path can provide anything a human being genuinely needs — but only when supported by correct action and discipline.

Philosophy Behind Krishna’s Plan

Krishna taught that spiritual happiness does not depend on:

* money * rituals alone * outer religious appearance

Instead, true happiness depends on:

* purity of heart * good conduct * daily righteous actions * culture and values * generosity * character

Since people of Kaliyuga would struggle with these, the Nath path had to guide humanity toward stability and spiritual growth.

Limitations and Purpose

Krishna clarified:

* The Nath tradition cannot change the Yuga itself * But it can change the effects of the Yuga on human life * It can restore balance in individuals, families, and society

Thus, before completing his earthly incarnation, Krishna established this plan for the welfare of all beings in Kaliyuga.
