Meeting with Shaktipata Acharya P. P. Shri Moreswar Maharaj of Mayureshwar Peeth

On the occasion of the Sant Poojan organized by Nath Shakti Peeth, P. P. Shri Moreswar Bua Charholikar Maharaj of Mayureshwar Peeth, Pune emphasized the importance of bringing saints and spiritual guides from various traditions together on a single platform. He expressed that such collaborative efforts allow for greater momentum in Dharma work.

He highlighted that a true Sadguru’s concern is always for the spiritual purification of aspirants, and those who serve the Guru with complete devotion benefit the most. The Shaktipata Sampradaya and Nath Sampradaya share the same essence. The harmony between Jnana Nath’s teachings and Dnyaneshwari illustrates this alignment. Service and proximity to great masters like P. P. Shri Narendranath Maharaj strengthen one’s spiritual practice and inspire motivation and energy for spiritual work.

During the event, the footwear of Paramhans Parivrajaka Acharya Shri Loknath Tirth Swami Maharaj, the original Guru of the Shaktipata Sampradaya, was ceremonially worshipped by P. P. Shri Narendranath Maharaj. The event was presided over by Shri Bhausaheb Marodkar, chairman of the festival committee, along with trustees Shri Aniruddh Chaudhary and Vidula Chaudhary, who offered their respects to P. P. Shri Moreswar Maharaj and presented him with the literary works of Shri Narendranath Maharaj.

The Mayureshwar Peeth representatives also performed Shraddha Poojan for P. P. Shri Narendranath Maharaj on the occasion of the Sahasra Chandra Darshan and the completion of dual spiritual milestones. H. B. P. Shri Ramnath Ayyar offered ceremonial robes, and eminent dignitaries including Jnana Maharshi Pandit Vasantrao Gadgil and national kirtankar H. B. P. Prof. Apamarjane graced the stage.

The event began with lamp lighting, followed by the worship of the footwear of Shri Vyankatnath Maharaj and Shri Loknath Tirth Swami Maharaj. The introduction and anchoring were done by H. B. P. Gajanan Kulkarni, and Veda Murti Dr. Shrikant Shastri Gadadhar conducted the Vedic mantra chanting session.

The occasion underscored that spirituality is not a matter of competition, but a practice that elevates the soul, purifies the mind, attitude, and tendencies — a lesson beautifully exemplified by the role of Shri Narendranath Maharaj in organizing this Sant Poojan.
