Saturday Upasana — “What Is the Purpose of Human Life?”

Saturday Upasana explains the deepest spiritual truth:

Human birth is given only for one purpose — the upliftment and liberation of the soul.

Everything else — wealth, success, pleasure, suffering — is temporary, and only part of the journey.

Creation works through a divine cycle:

Birth → Life → Death → Rebirth

The soul experiences this cycle again and again.

Each lifetime brings new circumstances based on past actions (karma).

The Upasana says:

Human emotions — joy, grief, love, fear — are all part of this cosmic play.

But the highest purpose behind all this is:

To realize the Divine and free the soul from repeated births.

Suffering does not come from God.

It comes from:

one’s own past actions (karma),

ignorance of spiritual truths,

ego and desires,

and resisting the natural order of the universe.

The Upasana says:

When humans do not understand Divine laws, they suffer endlessly.

When they align with Divine laws, life becomes peaceful and purposeful.

The Upasana teaches:

“God is the true giver of food, shelter, protection, and life.”

This means:

Nature already provides for every soul.

Every creature, from the smallest insect to humans, receives its share.

Human anxiety comes only from fear and overthinking.

Ramdas Swami said:

“Why worry? God who gives life also gives sustenance.”

Therefore, a person should:

reduce unnecessary worry,

trust divine care,

and focus on spiritual progress.

Not rituals. Not complicated practices. Not sacrifices.

God asks for only ONE thing:

“Try to connect with Me through love.”

In this Upasana, it is clearly taught:

Focus less on material anxieties

Focus more on remembering God

Live with simplicity, gratitude, and devotion

Try to understand the purpose behind your birth

Among all living beings, only humans can become spiritually free.

Other creatures only experience pleasure and suffering according to instinct.

But humans can:

choose their actions

choose their thoughts

practice devotion

seek a Guru

and consciously uplift their soul

This is why scriptures say:

Human birth is the rarest blessing in the universe.

The Saturday Upasana concludes:

God created the cycles of birth and death

but Guru is the one who helps a soul escape it

Guru rewrites destiny

Guru destroys karmic bondage

Guru leads the soul to ultimate freedom

Without the Guru:

life remains confused

suffering continues

and spiritual progress stops

With the Guru:

life becomes meaningful

the heart becomes pure

and liberation becomes possible
