Recognize Yourself And Merge With The Divine

In this vast world, we often find ourselves feeling helpless, yet we forget that this entire universe operates under an automatic, divine law. As Saint Tukaram Maharaj says, “Whose power moves this body?”—the same power that sustains your breath and moves the smallest leaf on a tree is the Almighty who is constantly with you. We often carry the heavy burden of ego, thinking, “I am the doer,” but in truth, a human being can do very little on their own. God has sent every living being into this world with a single, sacred purpose: to become one—to merge—with that Divine Principle.

The Automatic Law of the Universe: This cosmos is not being managed by someone sitting at a distance; it is bound by a self-sustaining Law. The sun rises on time, the winds blow, and the five elements (Earth, Water, Fire, Air, and Space) perform their duties perfectly. If we align ourselves with these natural and divine laws, our lives automatically become easier. In difficult times, instead of giving in to fear, hold onto this faith: “Everything is moving by His will.” When this realization dawns, half of your sorrow vanishes instantly.

The Test of the Guru-Disciple Bond: It is natural for doubts to arise while walking the spiritual path. Questions like “How do I recognize a true Guru?” are bound to occur. This discourse offers a profound thought: just as it is the Guru’s role to see if the seeker is a “worthy disciple,” it is also the seeker's responsibility to recognize if the guide is a “True Sadguru.” However, remember that realization only dawns when you immerse yourself completely. A Guru does not just give a mantra; he changes the very direction of your life.

Surrendering Ego for the Joy of Devotion: A person's “Ahanta” (Ego) is the only thing that keeps them away from God. As long as the feeling of “I am the doer” persists, finding true peace is difficult. Once we accept that “He is the doer, and I am merely an instrument,” every event in life stops haunting us and starts teaching us. Accepting God’s sovereignty is not a defeat; it is the path to ultimate victory.

Assurance for Difficult Times: If you are facing a crisis today, understand that it is a part of His divine play. Instead of worrying about what tomorrow holds, spend today in remembrance of the Divine and the Sadguru. While tomorrow may bring more clarity on what is expected of human life, the mantra for today is this: “Recognize His power, and keep the flame of devotion burning bright.”
