Shri Nimish Pankhedkar

Shri Nimish Pankhedkar explained that ancient Indian science was deeply rooted in the pursuit of moksha—the liberation of the soul. Over time, due to blind imitation of the West, society gradually abandoned its own rich culture and accepted foreign practices. He emphasized that Lord Macaulay’s education system weakened India’s spiritual foundation and distanced people from their heritage. Where modern science ends, Vedic science begins, he said, urging everyone to rediscover the Vedic approach.

He illustrated this through several powerful examples that highlight the depth and advancement of ancient Indian knowledge:

  • 1. The Iron Pillar of Delhi, standing for 1600 years without rusting, demonstrates India’s advanced metallurgical science.
  • 2. Indians once cleaned teeth using salt. Westerners mocked it then, yet today the same companies proudly advertise: *“Our toothpaste contains salt!”*
  • 3. Every modern water purifier uses a carbon cartridge, while our ancestors purified water using ash, a natural equivalent.
  • 4. Experiments in quantum teleportation today suggest that activation of all seven subtle energy centres may enable a person to appear in two places at once—exactly as described in stories of Lord Krishna during Dvapara Yuga.
  • 5. Steve Jobs travelled to India seeking spiritual clarity. After living a spiritual life for seven months, he returned and built what eventually became Apple.
  • 6. The Pythagorean theorem predates Pythagoras; it appears in Bhaskaracharya’s Lilavati, proving India’s ancient mathematical brilliance.
  • 7. Blessings are given with the palm because subtle energy waves radiate most strongly from it.
  • 8. The head receives energy waves most powerfully; hence, blessings are often placed on the head.
  • 9. If Earth’s small moon can influence ocean tides, then planets much larger—like Saturn—can certainly influence human life.
  • 10. Modern science now confirms that water has memory. In India, sacred water (*tirtha*) has always been energized by mantra chanting before being consumed.

Through these examples, Shri Pankhedkar emphasized that the wisdom of ancient India was not superstition, but a sophisticated spiritual and scientific system whose value the modern world is only beginning to understand.
