Post-Retirement — Creating a Social and Spiritual Space

This inclusive vision challenged the conventions of the time and embodied the principle of Sarvadharm Samabhav (Equality of All Religions).

Dhondopant’s wife, Geetabai (Gitāātyā) Deshpande, belonged to the Chaudhary family, active in India’s freedom movement. This alliance strengthened the temple’s social and spiritual foundation.
