Seven-Day Spiritual Practice
This seven-day practice is not dedicated to any particular deity. It does not prescribe:
Instead, it is a universal inner practice meant for the upliftment of one’s soul.
1) Everyone must understand that *lifespan* is the time granted to a human being for their own spiritual evolution.
For example: an 80-year life is the time given by the Divine for uplifting one’s soul. This effort must be made within that span.
2) Having faith or not having faith in “God” does not change the natural order.
According to cosmic principles, life—from birth to death—unfolds as per past karma. Without spiritual effort, many may require countless births for true upliftment.
3) The five cosmic elements (pancha-mahabhutas) continuously influence every being.
These effects cannot be avoided. Without awakened discrimination (viveka), life becomes painful.
4) Denying the existence of the Divine is simply a sign of lack of awareness.
True wisdom expresses itself as goodness, virtue, and a refined nature.
5) Opposing nature, cosmic order, or enlightened beings is a sign of an undeveloped soul.
6) This practice does not forbid enjoying life or experiencing worldly pleasures.
It only emphasizes that soul-elevation must not be ignored.
7) Every individual should remain in search of a *Sadguru*—a true spiritual guide.
8) If one neglects all of this, life becomes sorrowful, restless, and dissatisfying.
The next birth becomes even more difficult. This is the cosmic law. Only a Sadguru can change its course.
If you do not understand cosmic law, you will struggle in life.
Sunday speaks of the universe, nature, and the five elements. It explains how they influence all living beings.
All life—including humans—is part of the Divine play. Everything that exists or does not exist is within the Divine. What happens and what does not happen—both occur by the Divine Will.
If a person does not align life with this truth, their life becomes filled with suffering. This is the essence of cosmic law.
Understand the bond between the soul and the body.
If you ignore this, your entire lifetime may go to waste.
After creation, individual souls—each a spark of the Supreme—take birth by assuming bodies formed from earth, water, and space elements.
The body surrounds the soul like a garment. According to past karma, the soul chooses a suitable body.
Only the human body offers the possibility of becoming “Narayana”—spiritually complete.
Understanding the body’s sacred purpose is essential:
form a sacred connection.
Without recognizing this purpose, life—and future lives—remain painful.
The Key to Self-Knowledge
A human child is born crying, expressing the eternal question: *“Who am I? From where have I come?”*
While in the mother’s womb, the soul remembers everything from past births. It also absorbs the mother’s emotions and words. This memory is lost during birth, and the soul begins the search again.
Without self-knowledge, the human being struggles. When self-knowledge awakens, earlier memories shine again.
Human birth is meant for:
This practice increases spiritual wisdom and peace. Under the guidance of the Guru, true upliftment begins—not by rituals alone, but through inner transformation.
Without Atmonnati, nothing stays with the soul after death.
Why do I feel helpless and restless?
People feel unstable and helpless even when they try to do good. They see others obtaining success with little effort.
This happens because:
The Guru must be recognized not through intellect alone, but through deep inner resonance.
Interfering with nature and the cosmic elements leads to suffering. Ignoring this teaching leaves a person dependent on fate and restless.
Without a Sadguru, there is no liberation.
The presence of an enlightened Guru is rare. Only through past virtue and destiny does one encounter such beings.
Even though saints live freely among people, not everyone feels the desire to meet them. Where there is no inner connection, desire does not arise.
As Tukaram says:
*“When the dust of the Guru’s feet touches the seeker, desires burn away, love for the Divine arises, and tears of devotion flow.”*
Without a Sadguru, there is no salvation. Divine realization too is impossible without the Guru’s grace.
Blessings or suffering—both are results of our karma. Good deeds bring joy; wrong deeds bring pain.
No one can save you without the Guru.
History describes humans, not the origins of gods. Gods take human form to perform their duties on earth. The Guru is therefore the manifestation of Brahma–Vishnu–Mahesh.
Scriptures show that gods themselves gave utmost honor to Gurus. The recognition of the Guru comes not from the mind, but from the awakened heart.
Parents give birth; the Guru gives liberation.
Only the Guru can save the soul from the endless cycle of birth and death.
What is the purpose of life?
Life is a divine play. The soul receives body after body for its liberation.
Emotions are part of the cycle of birth and death. These emotions must be turned toward the Divine.
God provides food, shelter, protection—without discrimination. Trusting this, one should cultivate devotion.
The seven-day teachings reveal that:
come as Guru for the upliftment of the soul.
As one studies these teachings:
Read one day’s teaching per day. Do not read everything at once. Let it sink into your heart slowly.
If the Guru’s guidance has not yet come, it will—naturally, at the right time.
With Guru’s grace, one birth—one moment—can turn a soul into a master of cosmic knowledge.
If a person does not understand cosmic law, life becomes difficult.
Understanding the bond between the soul and body is essential. Self-knowledge is necessary for upliftment.
Ignoring these truths keeps a person helpless and restless.
According to cosmic law:
God has already promised that every being will receive food, shelter, and life’s necessities. Having faith in this, remain devoted.
With sustained practice and Guru’s grace, the soul begins its upward journey—here and now.
